Campaign from March 08 - 31, 2018: Terms and conditions

The raffle is organized by ESCP Europe, Heubnerweg 8-10, 14059 Berlin. By participating, the user explicitly acknowledges the terms and conditions for participation and agrees to be bound by these.

Prizes: The main prize is one 50% discount for the Women in Leadership Programme taking place in Berlin from  November 12 - 15, 2018 (standard price: 3.950,- €; 50 % discount: 1.975,- €).

All participants who send an e-mail to cgreiner@escpeurope.eu (until March 31, 2018) and who fulfill the requirements for participating in the Women and Leadership Programme (details to be found on www.escpeurope.de/women-in-leadership) are considered in the raffle. The e-mail needs to contain at least the following information: first name, surname, e-mail address and years of working experience incl. function. The participant can also include, if he or she wants to receive news and information about offers and programmes from ESCP Europe via e-mail (voluntary). Each participant can only take part once in the raffle, even if the participant sends more than one e-mail.

The raffle has been designed for the target group of potential participants of the Women in Leadership Programme. Participation is exclusively limited to natural persons. Excluded from participation are the employees of ESCP Europe and all persons who are engaged in or have been engaged in the implementation of the raffle. The same shall apply to family members of the first and second degree of these persons as well as to their partners living in a partnership similar to marriage according to §15 German Tax Code (AO).

Participation in the raffle is not bound to taking up studies at ESCP Europe, to the purchase of a product, a service, a donation or to anything comparable.

If participants upload content to the LinkedIn site of the campaign, ESCP Europe shall not assume liability for any copyright infringements or violations of personality rights caused by raffle participants.

Winners will be selected by draw. Winners will be notified by receiving a LinkedIn message or e-mail. The entitlement to the prize shall expire in case of the winner’s unavailability, if there is no feedback from the winner, or in case of non-acceptance of the prize by the winner after expiry of a period of 21 days after notification by ESCP Europe.

Conditions of participation in general

The LinkedIn profiles/names and entries of all participants may be publicly disclosed/shown.

Any cash equivalent payment/swapping of the prizes shall be excluded. The entitlement to the prize shall not be transferable.

ESCP Europe reserves the right to modify the content characteristics of the Women in Leadership Programme on short notice and to cancel the execution of the programme in case of nonachievement of a minimum number of participants. In this case, all payments made prior will be refunded and any cash equivalent payment/swapping of the prize shall be excluded.

ESCP Europe reserves the right to delete inappropriate entries, or exclude any person manipulating and/or attempting to manipulate the game.

ESCP Europe reserves the right to cancel or terminate the raffle at any time, or to modify the terms and conditions for participation. In this case, participants shall have no claims against ESCP Europe.

ESCP Europe shall not assume responsibility for any disruptions arising from technical reasons.

Data privacy:

In case the participant did not give the consent to use the data for advertising purposes: All of the participant’s personal data shall be exclusively stored and used for the purpose of the implementation and organization of the raffle. Unauthorized disclosure to third parties does not occur. Nor does the use for advertising purposes. After completion of the raffle, the participant’s data will be deleted.

In case the participant gave the consent to uses the data for advertising purposes: All of the participant’s personal data shall be exclusively stored and used for the purpose of the implementation and organization of the raffle and advertising purposes by ESCP Europe. Unauthorized disclosure to third parties does not occur. After completion of the raffle, first name, surname and e-mail address will be used for advertising purposes, other data of the participant will be deleted.

Each participant is free to revoke his or her participation in the raffle and his or her consent to the storage and use of his or her data. The revocation must be sent to cgreiner@escpeurope.eu. By deleting the data, any participation in the raffle and any subsequent prize draw shall be excluded.

Final provisions: The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.

Deviations from these terms and conditions for participation are required to be in writing in order to be effective. This shall extend to apply to any abrogation of this written form clause.

Should one or more of the above clauses be or become, in whole or in part, void, ineffective, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain effective. They are replaced by an effective clause. The same shall apply in the case of any omission.

Place of performance and jurisdiction shall be Berlin, if such agreement is permissible. Otherwise, the domicile and/or place of residence of the defendant shall apply.

All decisions are final.

Legal recourse is excluded.
